Frequently asked questions
Is egress really free? Is there a fair-use limit?
Yes, and no. Egress is free with no cap, no ratio to stored data and no fair-use clause. You pay only for the data you store.
Does CDN traffic count as egress?
CDN bandwidth is egress, and egress is free. Serving files through the built-in CDN costs nothing extra.
Do you charge for API requests?
No. PUT, GET, LIST, DELETE — all requests are free. There are no Class A / Class B operation fees.
How is storage billed?
By the average number of GB stored over the month, prorated hourly. There is no minimum storage duration and no early-deletion fee.
Is S3jet compatible with my existing S3 code?
S3jet implements the S3 API. Most SDKs and tools work by changing the endpoint URL and credentials.
How do I migrate from AWS S3 or another provider?
Use the built-in migration tool in the console, or run rclone sync between the two endpoints.
